Holos is an interdisciplinary and multicultural group of individuals and institutions working for a more humane and sustainable future.

Its main objectives are the eco-social education and sensitization, as well as the dissemination of information and values that help to catalyze a transition to a fairer, more democratic and environmentally and socially sustainable society.    

To walk this road, the Group supports actions that, besides holding and repairing environmental damage, also bring forth a change in values, perceptions and in the way in which society interacts and organizes itself.

In its actions, the Holos Group makes use of its diverse tools, such as:

• its interdisciplinarity, that gives access to knowledge in diverse fields, such as computer science, engineering, eco-tourism, biology, international relations, law, photography and business administration;

• its multiculturalism, which provides the knowledge of many languages and of a vast cultural diversity;



• and its growing network of contacts, that allows the Group to be part of an emerging collective movement, that surely is more than the sum of its parts.

The idea is to use these tools to exchange information, establish bonds and work in association with other entities and individuals. The Holos Group intends to build bridges, connecting people and democratizing information.

On a long run, the best way to solve the eco-social problems is to invest in information, education and sensitization, as well as in the search for new forms of action, organization and cooperation. That way we can face the problems and challenges that are growing more complex every day.
